Sponsorships & Adoptions

There are several ways for you to support sea turtles and Flagler Turtle Patrol. We have created a number of different options and tiers that allow you to be as involved as you would like to be. From direct donations to our Active Adoptions, there is something perfect for every sea turtle enthusiast! Learn more about our sponsorship and adoption options below.

Adopt a Nest

Active Adoption

Our Active Adoption allows you to join our amazing volunteers as they evaluate and document your hatched nest. Your adoption will include: a dedicated nest identifying the adopter by name, an official adoption certificate, sea turtle education information, and a nest success evaluation report. You will also have the opportunity for a front row seat to the nest cleanout and evaluation process, which takes place 3 days after emergence.

Not Present Adoption

For those who are out of state and want to show their support and adopt a nest, but can't be here in person for an evaluation. Our Not Present Adoption will include a dedicated nest identifying the adopter by name. You will also receive: an official adoption certificate, sea turtle education information, and a nest success evaluation report after the babies have emerged.

Sponsorship

Sponsors will be highlighted in our Flagler Turtle Patrol Newsletter and included in our end of season roundup on the website.

Donations

If you want to support Flagler Turtle Patrol, but don't necessarily want to be involved with adopting or sponsoring a nest, please consider a direct donation. We rely on the generous donations of sea turtle enthusiasts to facilitate our efforts in sea turtle research and conservation. Donations cover a variety of necessities used by our volunteers, from nest marking supplies such as ribbons, stakes, and paint, to the critical equipment like the ATVs, fuel, and GPS units used in daily beach patrols. If you are interested in making a direct donation, please see the links below.

Thank you for supporting our sea turtles!
